‘Simulation’ official poster unveiled

The poster for Iranian movie ‘Simulation’ as Iran’s only representative at the forum section of Berlin International Film Festival in Germany has been unveiled.

Directed by Abed Abset, the movie is about three young people who are looking for a place in their hometown to have an enjoyable time over the weekend.

While discussing over a variety of options, they finally decide on the house of an old man. In the past, they have only visited him once and do not have any particular close relations with him.

The movie is to be screened five different times on the festival’s schedule and is predicted to have more than 3,000 people in attendance in total.

The Berlin International Film Festival, also called the Berlinale, is one of the world’s leading film festivals, held annually in Berlin, Germany.

Established in West Berlin in 1951, it is considered the largest film event in terms of actual attendance rates.

“The 67th Berlinale Forum is showing 43 films in its main program, 29 of which as world premieres and 10 as international premieres,” a press release about the festival read.

The German festival is scheduled to run from February 9 - 19 in Berlin.
